After transitioning my cats from commerical wet and dry pet food to a raw fed diet I was eager to also find healthy, preserative-free, affordable cat treats. After trialling a few varieties which really didn't take my cat's fancy, I experimented and dehydrated my own. The overwhelming response from Hugo was enough to encourage me to not only continue to make the treats for him, but to share my treats with other cat owners throughout Australia.
Angela, who is lovinginly referred to as 'the crazy cat lady' in her household, works full-time, is a wife and mother, and also owner of The Cat Bowl. Angela also spends her time cuddling her three beautiful British Shorthairs Hugo, Gus and Ralph and her two dogs Pepper and Pip.
Marni, daughter of Angela, was born a cat lover. She has always been a 'crazy cat kid'. Hugo, Marni's big British Shorthair loves sharing her bed for night time snuggles. When not at school, Marni is head cat cuddler, treat packer and label maker.
Hugo the blue British Shorthair is the 'boss' of The Cat Bowl. Hugo spends his time sleeping on the job and giving the 'stink eye' to his employees.
Gus and Ralph are British Shorthair classic tabbies. Gus is a black silver tabby and Ralph is a black golden tabby. Both are chief Taste Testers and minions of Hugo.
Pip, a pound rescue and Pepper the Pug are the canine members of The Cat Bowl. Pip and Pepper are taste testers and will eat just about anything but The Cat Bowl treats are definately their favourite. Pip and Pepper do exactly as Hugo, their boss, says.
